This way we can help to reduce the number of years a person is living with chronic disease. Instead those years can be spent functioning more optimally.  Ideally, in naturopathic medicine we would like patients to live healthy and well for the majority of life. When the end of life nears, we would like to see only a short period of time where health declines, helping clients circumvent years of prolonged  pain, debility, and chronic disease. 

 

Health is something that you must cultivate over a long period of time.  Your daily life choices set the stage for the degree of health you may acheive and maintain in your life.
